All stamps are illustrated in color and priced — approx. 8,900 color illustrations on 856 hardcover pages.
In addition to regular stamp issues, the specialized catalogue also includes printing and color varieties, plate flaws, misprints, and many other philatelic specialties such as black and color print trials, balloon post, Christkindl post office, collector's issues from Austrian Post AG, and much more.
As with every year, the 2025 edition has been fundamentally revised, expanded, and supplemented, with many new plate flaws, varieties, and special issues added. Many of these have only recently become known through the release and auction of items from the Austrian postal archive. Also included are newly catalogued imperforate stamps, proofs, and recent research findings.
As in previous years, previously uncatalogued specialist studies of philatelic themes are included as special sections.
