CERTIFICATE
Presented for examination:
AUSTRIA, Definitive Issues 1863 + 1864
3 Kreuzer light yellowish green, perf 14, from the 1863 definitive issue, and just below it, slightly upside down, a 2 Kreuzer yellow, perf 9½, from the 1864 definitive issue – together used as a correct 5-Kreuzer franking on complete folded letter cover of a letter in the 1st weight class to KAPOSVÁR.
Old Austria Special Catalogue 2008, No. 25 b + 30 a / €900
In my opinion, this letter (see color image) is genuine
and has been marked with my signature.
The stamps, affixed in the lower left corner, are cancelled with a clear, complete imprint of the black single-circle postmark "NAGY ATÁD 25 / 7"
(Müller No. 1790 a / 50 or 30 points; Ryan No. 972 / 80 or 30 points).
Both stamps are fully perforated all around and particularly mint-fresh!
The letter is cleanly addressed, sealed in red on the back, and bears the full arrival postmark "KAPOSVÁR 26 / 7" on the reverse.
There is a prominent horizontal file fold along the upper edge, and the letter is also vertically folded to the right of center.
This is a fresh and striking GEM PIECE!
